THE SHOW WITH ARTIST LADY DAY
Born in Sinj, Croatia in 1965, Siniša Labrović is a professor of Croatian language and literature whose provocative and influential work has earned international recognition. His first solo exhibition was held at Otok Gallery in Dubrovnik in 2000, and his work is included in the permanent collections of the Art Gallery Split and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb. Most recently, he exhibited at the XI Istanbul Biennial.
It was an honor working alongside Siniša Labrović during his artistic journey. Collaborating through the Queer Festival in Bushwick, Brooklyn, at Grace Space Gallery helped shape a powerful creative experience rooted in performance art and body modification culture.
Black Ink
After parting ways professionally with tattoo artist Mike Jones, Piercer Lady Day rebranded herself as an independent piercer,continuing to build her reputation
and artistry within the tattoo industry.
She later worked at Eddie’s Ink Tattoo for two years before joining the renowned Black Ink Tattoo Studio in Harlem, further establishing her presence in the body art community, And Present Opened Art Is Life Tattoo and Piercing in West Palm Beach
